Assistant Property Manager - Commercial Real Estate / Dana PointÂ
Salary - $70,000 - $85,000 DOEÂ
Monday - Friday onsite 8:30 - 5:00Â
Beneftis paid 100% for employee for employeeÂ

The ideal candidate must have commercial real estate management experience as well as strong analytical, communication and writing skills. Participates in the management of the day-to-day operations of the Retail Projects. Interacts and coordinates with Property Owners/Principles, Tenants, Contractors, Vendors and other individuals who support and are involved with the ongoing day-to-day operation of the Projects. Familiarity with standard property management, accounting procedures and financial reports preferred. Strong multi-tasking skills required for this face-paced environment.Â
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Office Management and Administration
- Answer the telephone, taking messages, dispatching work orders and other responsibilities as may be required for the smooth operation of the properties.
- Assist in the Administration of Tenant Leases.
- Review, understand, and enforce lease terms.
- Resolve tenant issues in a service oriented manner that promotes retention.
- Computer proficiency. Word processing skills and spreadsheet knowledge required.
II. Operations
- Interact with all property vendors including but not limited to janitorial, HVAC, Security, Landscaping, etc. to ensure the property has daily coverage as contracted.
- Maintain and follow up on all insurance certificates for vendors and tenants.Â
- Maintain and acquire all tenant and vendor contact information for files.
- May be called upon to inspect the buildings and/or properties for cleanliness, verification of scheduled repairs and maintenance.
- Work with Senior Management to follow-up on tenant complaints/issues.
- Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs.
- Reports all pertinent events and activities to the Sr. Manager.
- Expected to answer after-hour emergency calls when needed.
- Assist with events and signage.
III. Financial
- Assist with gathering information for annual operating and capital budgets.
- Assist accounting manager and Sr. Manager with pursuing delinquencies as requested
- Assist with accounts payable as needed
IV. Leasing
- Assist and coordinate with utility companies for turn-on/off services for vacancies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous strong Admin experience in Commercial Real Estate or other related field
- California State Driver’s License
- Self-discipline and self-motivation
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Highly skilled computer knowledge, especially in Word and Excel
- Be highly self-directed and goal and detail oriented, yet able to work as a team player
- Working knowledge of accounting procedures and the budget process
- Exceptional customer service skills
