Job Description
Corporate Equipment Engineering Manager to act as a Technical Contributor and shared Corporate resource for 6 high-volume and high-speed food & beverage manufacturing facilities in the Midwest. Name recognizable products found in every grocery store, gas station, and more globally.
This position does not have direct reports but works in partnership with all Plant Engineering teams.
Highly visible role with excellent growth opportunities.
Ideal candidates will have liquid fill or packaging equipment experience from Food & Beverages, or Consumer Products, or Pharmaceuticals, and or other closely related production industries.

Required Skills and Experience:Â Â

Bachelor’s degree, 6 plus years of experience in troubleshooting/investigating mechanical, electrical and process related issues and hands-on technical experience on electro-mechanical systems as applied to state-of-the-art packaging machinery
Preferred Skills and Experience:Â

Master’s DegreeÂ

Extensive years of experience performing field service

Extensive years of experience working as applications engineer

Beverage packaging industry experience

Food industry experience
-
Familiarity with PLC’s, online access and troubleshooting to the device level

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of report creation and data entry

Maintain valid passport for international travel to OEM sites for training and FATs.

Travel up to 80% to company’s manufacturing plants in the Midwest based on area of responsibility

Available nights and weekends to provide technical support to the company as needed on an emergency basis

Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and process problems on electro-mechanical systems
-
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
