Director of Engineering responsibilities:Â
- Take engineering projects through the phases of design, manufacturing, and installation
- Develop and design 3D models and fabrication drawings for parts, assembly, and installation of custom components.
- Provide your technical knowledge to ensure that projects come in on budget and on time.
- Manage, develop, and build a team of highly skilled Mechanical Engineers & Electrical/Controls Engineers.Â
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of Custom fabricated skid mounted systems and or industrial and or chemical processing equipmen
- Technical competence with SolidWorks for developing & designing 3D models & fabrication drawings for parts, assembly, and installation of custom components.
- Lead a team of 10-plus Engineers
- Expert knowledge of design documentation and changes/modifications
- Expert knowledge of the principles of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and drawings
- Solid knowledge of business finance to estimate and manage project costs
- Solid knowledge in viewing/analyzing 3D models, Fabrication, and Machining processes
- Knowledge of Industrial safety and OSHA standards
