Our client, a $2.8B national leader in premium surface solutions, is seeking an exceptional A&D Sales Director to build their architectural specification business in the NYC and Northern New Jersey markets.

As A&D Sales Director, you'll lead the charge in developing relationships with the region's top architectural firms, design studios, and commercial specifiers. Travel: 25-75% locally
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The Opportunity
As A&D Sales Director, you'll lead the charge in developing relationships with the region's top architectural firms, design studios, and commercial specifiers. This is your chance to:
- Develop and lead a high-performing A&D sales team in the Northeast
- Create and execute strategies that deliver $3-5M in annual revenue growth
- Build lasting relationships with the region's top architectural and design influencers
- Partner with marketing to create compelling A&D-focused materials and presentations
- Become an influential voice in the architectural specification community
- A robust network of relationships within the NYC/Northern NJ architectural and design community
- Proven success in specification-driven sales, preferably in building materials or surface products
- Strategic vision and the ability to execute ambitious growth plans
- Leadership experience with a track record of developing top sales talent
- Deep understanding of the architectural specification process
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or Interior Design
- Polished presentation skills and the ability to speak the language of design
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify trends and sales opportunities
- Competitive base salary range of $110K-$160K plus performance bonus
