The Account Representative role assists in achieving the company’s growth ambitions. The role is a mix of customer service and insurance advisory responsibilities. Account Representatives focus on providing insurance quotes to customers. Successful Account Representatives are team players with attention to detail and are great at meeting the needs of our clients.

Direct Hire
8:30 am - 5pm, M-T
8:30 am- 4 pm, on F
Works hours 36.5 for the week
One day at home will be offered after an initial training period of 2 months.

Company will pay 100% of your independent benefits.

This position will have a consistent commission after 6-12 months once you have passed Property & Casualty License that will be paid by the client.

The commission will be 5% of every new business brought in, in this role business is overflowing directly to you so no marketing will be done outside. Employee commissions rate grows yearly from the first year starting at $5,000 in commission to their second year going up to $10,000.

Must have a degree!

No insurance background is required.


Position Responsibilities:
• Know carrier underwriting guidelines and requirements to effectively market new and renewal business
• Partner with account managers, producers, and management to effectively assist with various needs
•  Develop and maintain great working relationships with carriers and underwriters to secure required quotes/documentation in a timely manner
• Deliver superior customer service by responding swiftly to questions, comments, and concerns of our clientele
•  Understand carrier quoting requirements and platforms to effectively market new and renewal business
• Process and bind new business
• Negotiate coverage and pricing options to best suit the needs of our clients
• Field lead calls that come into the front desk requesting insurance proposals
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned by management

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Property & Casualty License (company will arrange & pay for classes, licensing, and continued education)
• Exceptional time management, organization, and follow through
• The ability to develop and maintain relationships
•  Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
•  Ability to take direction and work independently to accomplish common goals

Reporting Relationship:
• Report to Director of Operations
