This is a unique opportunity to help establish our internal Product Development Organization (PDO). Initially, this role will be 75% hands-on development and 25% architecture work, transitioning to more strategic architecture responsibilities as the team grows.

Position Overview
This is a unique opportunity to help establish our internal Product Development Organization (PDO). Initially, this role will be 75% hands-on development and 25% architecture work, transitioning to more strategic architecture responsibilities as the team grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development efforts while building internal PDO processes and capabilities
- Design system architecture and help build product roadmaps
- Structure communications from multiple channels and establish policies/cadences
- Mentor junior developers and establish development best practices
- Drive continuous improvement and process refinement
- Collaborate with third-party PDO to learn and implement internal processes
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development with deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Salesforce Admin Certification (required - must have admin mentality)
- Proven experience with both GP1 and GP2 packaging, including namespace management and upgrade paths
- Prior experience working within or building solutions for workforce development programs or public sector verticals
- Strong grasp of ISV best practices, security review processes, and AppExchange go-to-market strategies
- Demonstrated confidence working with related technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, VS Code, and automated testing
- Self-starter with a track record of success in navigating complex technical environments and unclear problem statements
- Experience with Salesforce Shield, Experience Cloud, or integrations with learning and case management platforms
- Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and case management functionality
- Experience with Salesforce clouds and integrations
- Ability to work on-site in Irvine office 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Dev1, Dev2, Dev3 level Salesforce certifications preferred
- Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or higher)
- Familiarity with Salesforce AI developer tools and AgentForce platform
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies
- Knowledge of modern development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Technical leadership role shaping innovative public sector solutions
