Legal Secretary - Irvine
Job Description
Onsite position: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $73,000 - $85,000 with annual bonus

Overview: We are seeking a Legal Secretary with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a law firm to provide comprehensive support throughout the litigation process. This newly created position is due to increased workload.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation from case inception through trial and post-trial proceedings.
- Prepare and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and depositions.
- Conduct legal research and compile data as needed.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-up on deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm setting.
- Experience with Federal & State E-Filing is a plus, training will be provided.
- Proficiency in legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Word 2016, Outlook 2016, Excel 2016, NetDocuments, and CompuLaw calendaring. Training will be provided as needed.
