What Makes This Role Unique Diverse Practice Areas:
- Tort Defense: Premises liability, dangerous conditions, civil rights claims
- Code Enforcement Prosecution: Bringing properties up to code, nuisance abatement
- Criminal Prosecution: City/county code violations (deputized prosecutor role)
- Administrative Law: Hearing officer proceedings
- Cross-training opportunities across practice areas
- Clear advancement path
- Team-based approach with senior attorneys, associates, and paralegal support

The Ideal Candidate
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies
- 3+ years civil litigation experience
- Experience with tort defense, preferably public entity matters
- Proven case management skills with complex caseloads
- Strong drafting abilities (pleadings, discovery, motions)
Preferred Experience:
- Government Code compliance and public entity immunities
- CPRA/public records request handling
- Police liability or civil rights litigation
- Municipal or code enforcement background
