The Project Manager leads projects from design to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This includes application development, infrastructure, security, hardware installation, upgrades, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project lifecycle (planning, execution, testing, and deployment) using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies
- Oversee internal and external teams, working with vendors to define deliverables and timelines
- Maintain knowledge of existing systems and address project issues
- Prioritize tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including status updates and risk management
- Manage multiple projects while adhering to timelines and budgets
- Ensure project success through change management, performance tracking, and process improvements
- Education: BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience: 5+ years in project management, ideally within logistics or shipping terminal environments
- Preferred: MBA, PMP certification, and 5-10 years of experience
- Knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Adaptability, problem-solving, and team management expertise
