The Opportunity
As our Proposal Specialist, you'll be at the intersection of technology and public service, driving the proposal process that helps bring transformative solutions to government agencies across the country. This is a contract to hire role perfect for someone with 2-3 years of proposal experience who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, meaningful environment.

This contract position requires in-office presence in Irvine, CA at least 2 days per week (Mon/Wed), with potential for 3 days during onboarding.

What You'll Do
- Lead the charge on proposal development from kickoff to submission
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to craft compelling content
- Ensure all submissions meet compliance requirements and deadlines
- Track multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organization
- Maintain proposal templates and build a library of winning content
- Improve processes to make our proposal engine even more effective
- 2-3 years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or related fields
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with RFPs, RFIs, and proposal processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in our Irvine office Monday/Wednesday (minimum)
- Experience with government or public sector proposals
- Knowledge of procurement portals and processes
- Background in workforce development, economic development, or related fields
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Flexibility with a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday/Wednesday, remote other days)
