We are a dynamic company committed to ensuring the safety and health of our employees. As a Safety Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in driving our safety programs and initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and deliver cutting-edge safety and risk management initiatives.
  • Analyze risk data to identify opportunities for injury prevention.
  • Coordinate Safety Committee meetings and activities.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for employees and management.
  • Collaborate with Incident Management Team to manage claims effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Participate in Workers’ Compensation and Auto Liability claim reviews.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Occupational Safety & Health, Risk Management, or related field plus 3+ years of experience, OR HS Diploma/GED plus 6+ years of experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to conduct engaging training sessions for all levels of employees.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to support the company's needs, including after-hours and on-call availability.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in Safety (e.g., CSP, CSHM, COSS).
  • Technical knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulatory standards.
  • Experience in warehouse, distribution, or trucking operations.
