Senior Network Engineer
Job Description
Will be embedded part time with a growing client, locally in SC, that is outsourcing their IT functions. Other projects and clients will require some travel at times.
Must have both virtual server and network engineering experience for this role!
Pharmaceutical industry experience is highly preferred
Position offers relocation. Sorry no sponsorship or visa assistance at this time.
Ideal candidates will have 10+ years IT support for medium to small businesses
Advanced Microsoft Server experience including Active Directory, GPO implementation is a must
Must have AWS and Azure experience
VMWare, Hyper V or Nutanix experience is a must
Layer 2 and 3 routing
Responsibilities will include:
- Support our clients with the following:
- Windows OS and Active Directory.
- AWS and Azure
- Virtualization implementation, support. i.e. Vmware, Nutanix
- Advanced Office365 implementation, conversion and ongoing support.
- TCP\IP, Networking, Routing, Firewalls, Switching, Cisco, Ruckus, HP products.
- VPN client and LAN to LAN communications
- PC\Desktop OS, Printers and other IT systems.
- Application implementations.
- Microsoft SQL admin administration - basic
- Email Migrations to\from Office 365, Exchange OnPrem, etc.
