- Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting, with a focus on manufacturing revenue and cost accounting.
- Extensive manufacturing experience, particularly in cost accounting.
- Analytical mindset, adept at working with complex and disparate datasets.
- Hands-on forecasting experience to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to full-time onsite presence (Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
- Leadership and communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Analyze and validate monthly Gross Profit reports and General Ledger inputs (e.g., Direct Labor, Material, Burden, Scrap).
- Monitor overtime spending trends and DL staffing levels.
- Assist in the development of the Annual Operating Plan for the business unit.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and support audits.
- Reconcile financial data, including inventory reporting and COGS.
- Oversee the annual physical inventory count and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct internal audits and maintain strong controls over financial data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in cost accounting, Excel (advanced level preferred), and ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance; SQL database experience is a plus.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Location: Gardena, CA (onsite).
- Facility: This is an ITAR facility (Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
